Our website is focused upon research into the effects of chemicals in the environment and the risks they pose to human health and the environment. The environment is a hot topic right now and with good reason. Never before has the system we take so much for granted been so threatened by our own actions. Research into EcoChemistry and Environmental Technology enables us to both mitigate the effects of our past behaviour and also to plan for less harmful future strategies.

Research into EcoChemistry can among other things enable the government to take a lead on the global stage, and work for an international agreement to cut climate pollution, as well as to cut the UK's emissions by at least 3% year on year, and to help the poorest countries get access to clean energy, help them cut out poverty and deal with the climate disasters they are already facing. Exposure of chemicals in the environment
Welcome to the Research into EcoChemistry and Environmental Technology website. We are focused upon chemical solutions to the problem of renewable energy as well as other sustainable technologies. We work mainly with government departments, local authorities and their agencies, with links into Universities, National Assembly for Wales, UK government agencies, British Standards Institute and technical institutions throughout Scandinavia, Europe and the USA.
We maintain contacts at a high level with companies in several sectors, academia and the media throughout the European Union (EU). These extensive links facilitate the rapid collection and dissemination of essential information. Research and development projects have been completed for government agencies in the UK, the EC and private clients. Reviews of innovative sustainable technologies have been undertaken.
We have also worked for a wide range of clients on topics covering the whole area of commercialisation and implementation, of chemical research outcomes and renewable energy projects from feasibility and market studies to the co-ordination of the construction and operation of complete plants.

We operate at a range of scales from controlled laboratory experimentation to catchment-level studies and have a large body of work related to the development and application of environmental models. Much of our research is policy-driven and underpins measures to promote the use of chemicals in an environmentally sustainable way.
